Exhibited at 69 Smith Street Gallery, Fitzroy, Melbourne early 2013. The artwork was given away for charity purposes at the Rotary art show in Chelsea, Vic in June 2013. Curently, it is held in a private collection.
About Zofia Kijak
My fascination with color characterizes all my works. I use vivid hues and bold brush strokes to fill my artwork with light. My aim is for my artwork to radiate with happiness, bring to the viewer positive emotions and encourage optimistic view of the world. My passion for intense colors results from my inspiration by Monet and Hockney and places full of sunshine, colorful houses and fairy-tale lush vegetation. Most of my paintings are a result of plein air work in Australia, South Pacific, Carribean and Mediterranean. I have introduced my three distinctive styles: 'joie de vivre', 'substance' and 'floral abstract' which dominate in my recent artwork.
