My latest artwork in Floral Abstract style. Displayed at my solo exhibition at the Old Schoolhouse Gallery, Cleveland, Queensland in 2014. The fourth place in the category 'Floral Impressionism', American Art Awards, 2015. The painting is currently kept in a private collection.
My fascination with color characterizes all my works. I use vivid hues and bold brush strokes to fill my artwork with light. My aim is for my artwork to radiate with happiness, bring to the viewer positive emotions and encourage optimistic view of the world. My passion for intense colors results from my inspiration by Monet and Hockney and places full of sunshine, colorful houses and fairy-tale lush vegetation. Most of my paintings are a result of plein air work in Australia, South Pacific, Carribean and Mediterranean. I have introduced my three distinctive styles: 'joie de vivre', 'substance' and 'floral abstract' which dominate in my recent artwork.
