Zofia Kijak Latest Artwork In Her Substance Style

Zofia Kijak's painting 'The Bay in Colors' has just been published on the Fine Art America website.

'The Bay in Colors' is the artist's recent artwork (oil and acrylic blend) in a unique style characterised by Zofia's fascination with colors, vivid hues and strong brush strokes. Her passion for colors has been inspired by the maestry of Monet and Hockney, but the style has been developed over several years of a tedious process of experimenting. The artist's prior work with the stained glass window design has undoubtedly influenced it.

Zofia's bold style combined with intense colors accentuates the sheer beauty of marine environment of the Redland Bay (Southern Queensland) where the bright colors of water and the lush greenary of land intertwine and blend in, and where she has joyfully settled to live and work.

This new artwork is currently on display at the 'Outside In' exhibition in the St. Vincent's Private Hospital in Brisbane.

Zofia Kijak Beyond Impressionism

Zofia Kijak Beyond Impressionism

The Polish fine art used to be quite traditional and characteristic for the North-eastern Europe. The bulk of art trade in Poland is currently focused on several well-established twentieth century (or earlier) names and their followers. Since the collapse of communism more than 20 years ago there has been no new direction which has attracted public and critics attention.
